The AV Squad and America's Got Talent Team up.  America's Got Talent winner Kevin Skinner has tapped AV Squad Director John Lloyd Miller to helm his first video for his first single.  Kevin's winning season on America's Got Talent has been view around the world and his first single, and video, are highly anticipated.

Director John Lloyd Miller was thrilled when he and The AV Squad had the opportunity to shoot the legendary Motown group, The Temptations at a theater in the Smoky Mountains.  Dee Butler     produced the momentous shoot for The AV Squad.

The AV Squad is very excited to partner with AristoMedia to create two new television pilots.  Working with music industry veteran AristoMedia we have created one show intended for domestic release in the US and one show intended for international release.  2009 promises to be an exciting one for everyone at The AV Squad as both shows gear up for production.

December sees The AV Squad Team headed to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.  We will be filming for a week in various theaters and attractions in this winter wonderland.  The trip ends with a shoot scheduled for the lights of Dollywood.

In November we began a very special project headed by AV Squad Producer, Dee Butler    .  Centered around a long form documentary, The AV Squad began filming on this multi-purpose piece that will focus attention on the issue of homlessness.  Filming began in downtown Nashville in and around the Nashville Rescue Mission. 

John Lloyd Miller traveled to Los Angeles to direct multiple episodes of "DVD on TV" for the FX networks in association with Executive Producer Bryan Johnson and The Film Syndicate.  Look for John's work during the FX network's broadcast of "Walk the Line", "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", "Batman Begins" and "Fantastic Four."

John Lloyd Miller and prolific Hollywood screenwriter Joe Batteer have recently completed the first draft of "Season Tickets," a comedy written for WhiteBread Films in Los Angeles.  For more information contact Carrie Nelson-Burch at the William Morris Agency.

We've recently completed a series of programs for the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism.  This tourist destination in East Tennessee is the home of Dollywood and loads of other attractions.  John Lloyd Miller has been working with this client for over ten years.  In the near future Miller will be designing the multi-screen Welcome To Pigeon Forge presentation that plays in the Welcome Center Theater.

Look for our latest effort... "The Mobile Limits." Directed and Produced by John Lloyd Miller, "The Mobile Limits" is a one minute film commissioned by Ortiva Wireless of La Jolla, California. The AV Squad is proud to have recently completed a behind the scenes music video for "Dare The World", by MAJOR RISING. Major Rising is made up of a variety of well known artists: Mark Collie, Bryan White, John Berry, Wayne Warner, Mila Mason, Kevin Sharp, Jimmy Fortune, Linda Davis and +1. Look for the enhanced CD and video soon...
 
Recently, John Lloyd Miller and The AV Squad filmed a very special music video featuring the song, "God Bless The Children", by Wayne Warner. The purpose of the music video is to raise awareness for adoption in this country and around the world. The video features a host of Country Music personalities - songwriters, artists, musicians....
